5 Ways to Boost Your Self Esteem
How we see ourselves is not always how the rest of the world may see us. Confidence and how we carry ourselves can be the make or break characteristic of a attaining a happy successful life.
So next time you are going through a period of self doubt, try these little tricks and pick me ups to improve your self esteem.
1. Take inventory of your self. Write down the things you love about yourself and also the things you can improve on. You can identify what you need to work on but more importantly celebrate what you love about yourself.
2. Fix Your Posture. This is how confident people carry themselves. Right now, take a minute to assess your posture. Are you sitting with confidence, straight spine and head help high? When you meet people do you warmly great them with a firm handshake and smile or are you hunched over with your arms crossed? Posture and physical appearance are the first impression people get of you, so why not give them a confident one?

4. Practice being decisive. Letting people know exactly how they can help you is the best way to show confidence and help people feel comfortable in your presence.
5. Visualize Your Ideal Self. Think of the person you want to be, all the characteristics you want to embody, who you want to be physically and mentally. See yourself as this person, with these characteristics. The Silva method is a very good way to meditate and visualize your ideal self.
