You want to make your own horror movie. It is a popular dream. Maybe you will make some big money, like that witch movie. Anything is possible. However, you need some new thoughts. There are many things that have been done to death. Here are some fresh ideas for you to consider.

Everyone has seen a man with a mask and a Poulan chainsaw. That is nothing new. Perhaps you can build upon that idea, to make it new. You need something scary. A woman opens a door. Standing at the door is a religious fanatic. He is dressed in a suit and is holding literature in each hand. Then it gets frightening.

No matter what she does, this man refuses to leave. He wants to save her soul at any cost. Actually, the cost is ten percent of her wages. She continues to try and rid herself of this man. However, nothing seems to work. The movie can center on your character and her struggles with this situation.

Maybe that is too intense for most of your viewers. You may need to tone it down a bit. Perhaps there is a maniac running loose that enjoys torturing people. This idea may not be new. However, you can make a few twists and turns to make it seem fresh. It will also keep you from being sued for plagiarism. Start the movie with your maniac. He rides around on a bicycle and wears a black helmet.

He keeps something in a guitar case. Do not reveal the contents for some time. Late at night, he breaks into the house of a beautiful woman. For some reason, psychos are very fond of lovely women. That in itself, is not a problem. However, he loves to torture them. That can be problematic.

He manages to subdue the woman and then he gets out his guitar case. You can have the music get loud at this point. He reaches into the case, and pulls out something amazing. It is a Dreadnought acoustic guitar. You may ask what is so amazing about a guitar. It is what he does with it.

He gets it out and starts to play and sing. She is tied up in a chair. This may not seem like torture. However, wait until you hear him play and sing. This is the tortuous part. To say he is terrible is an understatement. He is so bad that the woman asks him to slice her with a large knife. She just wants it to stop.

End the movie any way you wish. Try to make it interesting and unpredictable. Use your imagination to make it unique. You may be on the big screen before you know it.
