It isn’t your fault that you’ve been taught low expectation, experience anxiety, or critique people. After all, did we not get taught, “the squeaky wheel gets the grease?” We all picked up these habitual patterns of thinking from our upbringing. It’s not your fault, but it is on you to change those habits if you no longer desire to take what’s given to you. Find out how to choose your thoughts and feelings with intention. Then you will be a deliberate creator instead of a victim of circumstances.
Nothing is wrong with wanting to be fulfilled in any and all parts of life. Take note of the internal dialogue you have about your worthiness, or the chance of your wants being fulfilled and just keep choosing a more powerful inner conversation. Life is supposed to be good and you are worth it. The power truly is in your hands.
