So you would like to understand to trust again even after being scarred from a difficult divorce. Recieving support from friends and family can sometimes be the worst place to go to if you want to mend your soul and love again.

I recommend that you be gentle and easy on yourself and keep finding the place of forgiveness and release. You want to attract a relationship with someone you trust and share yourself with completely, so you should clear out any persisting negative energy.
Sometimes it’s a worn out story we tell ourselves and others that has us creating excuses, or justifying our inhibiting qualities.
Consider the “truths” you hold about yourself. I hope you are analyzing the heavy impressions that were instilled at a young age; the stories (that live like reality) about you and why you have not been successful, why you do not deserve, why you’re not good enough in the subject of love or just life in general.
I would like you to come up with a sentence that summarizes that shadow side or illogical belief. I call it an illogical belief because you’ve obviously come through life taking care of yourselves very successfully in many ways. You are experienced in many areas, you strengthen in a few fields and you’re down-right brilliant in others. You have high competencies and skills that, on the level of the intelligence, prove to you that you ARE skilled enough - in many places absolutely excellent.
What was that previous belief, call it your ‘life sentence’ that summarizes a tightly locked understanding that has little to do with your logic or intellect.
